The “Paidi-Diatrofi” is the first nutritional center exclusively for children and adolescents in Athens. The services are provided by Maria-Christina Alexopoulou, a Dietician-Nutritionist, graduate of Harokopeio University with specialization and experience in body weight control in children and adolescents.

The center is very friendly and the area is decorated especially for children, so as they can become familiar with a healthy and balanced diet through pleasant, creative and enjoyable ways. The room is decorated in a way that it resembles a super-market depicting a mother, a carriage full of healthy foods and smiling and happy children. There are many children books and fairy tails regarding nutrition, so as to help children understand better the meaning of a balanced diet. “Paidi-Diatrofi’s” aim is to teach children to eat properly and balanced, to change their unhealthy and harmful eating habits and to teach them how to make the appropriate food choices.
